SEE Motion Pictures is an Australian independent film production company dedicated to creating emotionally authentic, character-driven cinema that explores identity, truth and the choices that define us.

Our films inhabit the space where psychological thrillers, grounded drama and social realism intersect. We tell stories about ordinary people confronting extraordinary moral dilemmas, exploring what happens when grief, trauma, violence and fear challenge the very foundations of who we believe ourselves to be.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief:

Led by writer, director and producer Francisco Antonio Seguin, alongside producers Kyri Seguin, Mateos Seguin and composer Benito Seguin, SEE Motion Pictures continues to develop original Australian stories with an uncompromising commitment to authenticity, emotional truth and cinematic storytelling.

FRANCISCO ANTONIO SEGUIN

A Chilean-Australian writer, director and producer whose work explores identity, truth and the choices people make when survival comes at the cost of self.

Arriving in Melbourne with his family in 1976 after they fled political persecution under Chile's military dictatorship, Francisco grew up navigating two cultures while confronting the racial prejudice and social divisions that shaped much of suburban Australia during the 1980s. Those formative experiences—and the decades that followed—became the foundation of his voice as a filmmaker.

His stories inhabit the space where psychological thrillers, crime and grounded human drama intersect, examining how grief, trauma, violence and belonging influence the choices that define us. Rather than searching for easy answers, his work asks difficult questions about morality, identity and what remains of us when the lines we've drawn begin to disappear.

Through SEE Motion Pictures, Francisco is building an original slate of Australian feature films—including The Dealer, Precious|Choices and JU JU | X—united by a shared creative philosophy exploring the human condition through emotionally authentic, character-driven cinema.

He documents that journey through Notes from the Line, the official journal of SEE Motion Pictures, written in pursuit of what he describes as "searching for the voice above the abuse."

The experiences of his childhood and the decades that followed continue to influence every story he chooses to tell.

KYRI SEGUIN

Founder

Executive Producer - Production Manager

A producer whose creative instincts and practical leadership play a central role in the development of SEE Motion Pictures' films.

Raised in a proud Greek-Australian family, Kyri developed an early appreciation for theatre, European independent cinema and character-driven storytelling. She later completed formal studies in theatre acting and production, bringing a strong understanding of both performance and the collaborative process behind filmmaking.

As producer, Kyri is deeply involved from the earliest stages of development, serving as the first critical audience for every screenplay and helping shape stories through honest reflection, creative collaboration and an unwavering commitment to emotional authenticity.

During production, she works across multiple departments, overseeing costume design, art direction, make-up and on-set operations while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, resourcefulness and getting the very best from every production dollar.

Believing that great filmmaking is built on trust, preparation and collaboration, Kyri helps ensure that every SEE Motion Pictures production remains creatively ambitious while grounded in practical execution.

A composer, music producer and audio professional whose work explores the emotional power of music to deepen character and story.

Beginning his musical journey at the piano during high school, Benito went on to study music composition and audio production while developing a diverse career producing music for independent artists, mentoring emerging musicians and working across recording, composition and sound production.

At just fourteen years of age, Benito composed the original score for SEE Motion Pictures' feature film The Dealer, writing eighteen original compositions that marked the beginning of his career in film music. That experience ignited a passion for cinematic storytelling through music that continues to shape his creative work today.

Alongside his work in film, Benito continues to compose, produce and collaborate with independent recording artists while developing original scores for future SEE Motion Pictures productions.

He believes that music should do more than accompany a film—it should reveal the emotional truths that words often cannot.

For Benito, every composition begins with a single question: what does the audience need to feel, not just hear?
